Аппликация Ы is a pronunciation trainer that listens to your voice to give you feedback on how you pronounce sounds. We designed it to collect nothing.

What we collect

Nothing. The app has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no servers that receive your data.

Microphone

The app requests microphone access only while you hold the record button. Your audio is analysed entirely on your device to estimate the resonant frequencies (formants) of your voice. The recording and the analysis stay on the device, are used only to show your score and chart, and are discarded when you record again or close the app. Audio is never uploaded, stored remotely, or shared with anyone.

Reference audio

The word-exercise mode plays short native-speaker recordings that are bundled inside the app. Playing them sends no information anywhere.

Data sharing

We do not collect, sell, or share any personal data, because we do not collect any.

Children

The app is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children.
